My friend Perry Allen passed away not too long ago-Perry was a writer for Laugh In as well as Twilight Zone and a few other CLASSIC TV shows.Laugh In was so good, that it spawned many many other ’skit’ comedy shows including of course SNL.Perry was a very funny man who sometimes wrote for a very very funny show.RIP Perry- I still laugh out loud when I watch these CLASSIC videos!
This was a pivotal period for modern culture.
We need more of this bravery today.
When I was younger I wanted a talking Judy doll…now that I’m older I REALLY want one…;)
Laugh-In was a great show, but most of the blackout skits were lifted right from Ernie Kovacs.

Anyone who was anyone appeared on Laugh In.
Yes it was. It was considered totally cool to make an appearance on Laugh-In.
Laugh in was so trend setting and ahead of it’s time. If you weren’t around when it first hit, it’s impossible to explain the impact. But it is one of the all time great shows.
Was that Rock Hudson she was making out with at 2:05?

I believe “George Hamilton” is Sweet Brother Dick Whittington. There was another legendary DJ on the show besides Gary Owens.
This is stuff of historical importance. Fantastic! I remember many of these characters from when I was a kid. Thank you so much for posting this. 1968. The Tet Offensive and a Laugh-In Christmas. WOW!!
The cute black chick was Chelsea Brown. She appeared only on Laugh-In’s first season. She doesn’t seem to have done much after that.
