It’s quite amazing how humorous a child can be, what satirical even comical situation can arise with kids, in these hilariously funny birthday and children, baby and toddler jokes…

When the little girl returned from her friend’s birthday party, her mother asked if she had thanked the hostess of the party before leaving. “No.” said the little girl, “The person before me did, and my friend’s mother said ‘Don’t mention it’ -so, I didn’t…”

“So, what are we then -boy or girl?” asked one of the baby twins, and “I know how to find out,” said the other and disappeared under the sheets, then reappeared, and declared “I am a boy, and you are a girl.” “O-oh, how clever you are!” exclaimed the girl baby, “How could you tell!?” and boy baby proudly explained, “Oh, it was easy to tell -I am wearing blue booties, and you are wearing pink ones…”

An elderly man asked a young boy if he could see him across the road. The boy crossed the road, stood on the pavement, turned to him and shouted: “Yes.. I can…”

The little girl tossed some pieces of bread to a bird at the zoo, and when the bird looked to her for more, she asked her mother what bird it was. Told that it was a stork, the little girl was so excited: “O-oh.. it must have recognised me!..”

The little boy, came in running and excitedly announced that he had sold the cat for £10,000. “O-o-h…” asked his father, “They paid by cheque?” “No..” replied the boy, ” I got two £5,000 kittens for it…”

“Did you put an ad. in the local paper, about your missing dog..?” asked a boy’s friend. “Don’t be silly..” he said, “My dog can’t read…”

The little girl, before going to bed, said her prayers: “… God, please make bad people good.” She then added: “And good people nice…”

“Yup!” boasted the young boy to her friends: “I jumped on a young girl the other day, lay her down on the ground, pulled up her skirt, tore her stockings off, grabbed hold of her panties.. and tore the elastic out for my catapult!”

“Uncle won’t be arriving today,” announced mum, after she was telephoned the news, “He’s missed the train today and will start at the same time, tomorrow”. “Oh, dear!” remarked the little girl, “He’s going to miss it again then, isn’t he, if he starts at the same time…!?”

An anecdote, about his in childhood rather plump eldest son, of teacher and thinker the late Orhan Seyfi Ari: “Other children grow vertically, mine horizontally!”

“How did you get that black eye!?” exclaimed the little boy’s mother. “You told me good boys don’t fight,” he said, “but one fought back!..”

“You ask so many questions -I can’t know the answers to all of them” exclaimed, rather tired, a parent, “Do you know what might have happened if I had asked my parents as many questions as you do!?” The child thought, then replied “You might’ve known the answers..?”

“Thank you, auntie,” said the little girl as she opened her birthday present, “I always wanted a nice pin cushion.. but not very much…”

Comedies Past And Present In Radio And Tv

When the radio was invented it suddenly became possible to hear entertainers of all kinds by many people all at once. It changed the way that we were entertained in our homes.

Suddenly there was an alternative to sitting around the fireplace and listening to each other. We could sit around the fireplace and listen to more interesting strangers.

There was a variety of programs to listen to, including funny ones. When the radio was invented and began to be a common item in our homes, there were wars and the depression to contend with.

People loved the times that they could escape all these real and depressing situations with the laughter that could be found from listening to radio.

With the invention of television, we had even more exposure to comedy on demand. Everyone loves to laugh and many of those first television shows were funny ones. Texas Star Theatre had Milton Berle and was a variety show. Many of the acts that were done on this show and others like it, were done in the vaudeville style.

The situation comedy was our next venue for very good funny material. I Love Lucy was one of the most memorable, but not nearly the only one.

Ozzie and Harriet, Leave it to Beaver, Father Knows Best and others, would often depict an idealized family life that was a little to good to be true, but everyone loved to watch these programs and they all can still to be seen today because of cable and satellite television channels.

Situation comedies that we watch on television since the 1970’s try to give us a more realistic picture of what true family life is like. When it was presented to us in the way that All in the Family was, it was easier to find things associated with the way our lives really are and they can be hilarious. There are unfortunately real people in some of our families exactly like Archie Bunker.

Stand up comedians have also played a big part in our comedy choices over the years. Many of these first stand up comedians originated on the stages of vaudeville too. Then they were heard on radio and then television.

Milton Berle, Groucho Marx, Jack Benny, and Bob Hope were some of the first really successful ones. They were often the master of ceremonies of television shows and the comedic monologues that they did were an important part of a program.

We still have all these comedic forms that we can enjoy today through radio and television. They still liven up our lives on a daily basis. If we have had a bad day, it is easy to come home and turn on the tube and watch something funny. It will just about always feel better.

Make Her Laugh and Make HER YOURS

Every guy finds themselves wondering what it is that they can do to attract women easily. So, most men will start looking to find what I like to call “magic” bullets that they can use to get women to fall for them.

They try things like pick up lines and magic tricks and all other kinds of things to get women to notice them. And sometimes these things may work, but for most men, they end up being USELESS.

That’s why you have to learn what really works to attract women. And the easiest thing that you can learn how to do is to make her laugh.

Why?

Because women are naturally resistant to guys that approach them. They are used to hearing pick up lines and all other gimmicks to get their attention. But, when you can make them laugh, they let down that resistance. They become comfortable with YOU. And that cannot be a bad thing.

So, how do you make women laugh?

Simple little things like playfully teasing a woman will often do the trick. Or, you can spot something around you that you can easily make a funny remark about. The whole thing is, to make her feel GOOD when she is around you.

And to do this without looking like you are trying to pick her up. Once her guard is down, it becomes a whole lot EASIER To make her feel attraction towards you.

The quicker you can make her laugh, the quicker she will let her guard down. And then you can go to work on making her YOURS.

Watching Comedy as a Remedy

 

I’m a comedy buff. Shows like video zonkers, Tom and Jerry and whacked out sports are some of my favorites. I watched them in my leisure time after work. It makes me relax and loose all tension caused by all day long activities.

Watching comedy is a good habit. There are many advantages of watching great comedy. Not only relaxing, watching movies that make you go laugh out loud also related to intelligence improvement, specifically at the problem solving skills. Unlike watching suspenseful movies or reading a speech in front of others which will inhibit your problem solving capability, comedy will make you relax hence ready to access personal resource. This conclusion is based on two latest scientific studies in the field of neuroscience conducted by Ohio State University neurologist David Q. Beversdorf in November 2005.

In the first study, student volunteers watched 20 minutes of Saving Private Ryan, a graphic depiction of the World War II invasion of Normandy. After the movie clip, they had to complete a word-association task. The volunteers also saw 20 minutes of the animated comedy Shrek. The cartoon watchers’ test scores were 39 percent higher. For Beverdorf, this concludes that the induced stress to the violent movie impaired mental flexibility.

The second investigation compared volunteers who had the give speeches in front of a panel of cold-looking “judges” with others who simply had to sit in a room and read. Some of the subjects were given the beta-blocker drug propranolol, which might provide an antidote. Propranolol is used to treat high blood pressure and migraines and which counteracts the stress hormone norepinephrine. Mental and physical tests administered after the activities indicated that the people taking propranolol experienced less stress and displayed greater cognitive flexibility than the other study volunteers.

This finding might open a new alternative as a treatment for people who suffer from serious anxiety disorders. For those feeling pressed, why not trying this easy and fun solution.
